Genashtim Receives Esteemed “Company of Good” Recognition from Singapore’s National Volunteer and Philanthropy Centre

On 18 July 2024, Genashtim was honored with the prestigious Companies of Good recognition, together with 290 corporate giants, including American Express International and Microsoft Regional Sales. This accolade, presented by Singapore’s National Volunteer and Philanthropy Centre (NVPC), acknowledges companies that demonstrate a strong commitment to corporate purpose and significant contributions across five impact areas: People, Society, Governance, Environment, and Economy in Singapore.
The recognition system has four categories: Company of Good – 1 Heart, 2 Hearts, 3 Hearts, and Champion of Good. Genashtim was awarded the Company of Good – 3 Hearts, a designation for leading organizations with a clear plan to scale their purposeful initiatives. To qualify, Genashtim completed a comprehensive 55-item questionnaire and obtained global and national certifications, such as B Corp and LowCarbonSG.
Other notable recipients of the Company of Good – 3 Hearts recognition include Nestlé Singapore, Barclays Bank, and Kellogg’s Asia Pacific. Meanwhile, Citibank Singapore, Changi Airport Group, and Dell Global B.V. were awarded the Champion of Good recognition.
The enhanced Company of Good Recognition System is more inclusive than previous editions, recognizing organizations for their diverse progress towards corporate purpose and the five impact areas.
As a company founded and operated on the principle of purpose, and a strong advocate of sustainability and ESG best practices in Southeast Asia, Genashtim is deeply honored to receive this prestigious recognition. This accolade not only validates our efforts but also motivates us to continue driving positive change and fostering a more sustainable and equitable future.
