Genashtim 2025

2025

A Year of Global Connection, Strategic Evolution, and Sustained Growth

2025 has been a year of decisive progress for Genashtim. Across the organization, we reached a number of significant milestones that strengthened our global community, advanced our mission, and reinforced our financial foundation. As a 100% remote-work organization, fostering connection and engagement remains a core priority.

Partying at São Paulo

This year, we held our first company gathering in the Western Hemisphere in São Paulo, Brazil, bringing together approximately 50 colleagues, mostly from the Americas and leaders from Europe and Asia.

Advancing Our B Corp Leadership

Our tocert team has been deeply engaged in preparing for the new B Corp standards, successfully completing a series of pilot audits. While significant work remains ahead of the full launch in early 2026, this effort underscores our commitment to B Lab and the B Corp movement and to maintaining the highest levels of impact and accountability.

In the meantime, B Lab announced that To-Cert is one of two independent assurance bodies who are ready to begin certifying existing B Corps on the new B Lab Standards from 1 February 2026. They added that:

“Over the last four years, To-Cert has been working with B Lab to verify more than 11,000 companies in more than 90 countries – becoming an official partner for our new model is a natural evolution of our partnership.”

Securing Our Mission for the Long Term

Last year, we said that we would look for a global partner for To-Cert. A profound outcome of these deliberations has been a shareholder commitment to preserve Genashtim’s mission in perpetuity.

In 2026, we will commence the process of transferring the majority ownership of the company to a purpose trust. This trust will hold Genashtim’s shares for the benefit of key stakeholders, primarily our employees, ensuring the company remains independently governed and mission-led over the long term. It will also support a pension fund and impact investments, keeping our social and environmental objectives central to how the company is owned and governed.

Sustained Financial Strength

Amidst these strategic developments, Genashtim continues to achieve robust financial health. We recorded another 50% revenue growth in 2025. Encouragingly, our traditional business lines, which had declined to pre-COVID pandemic levels, are now showing signs of renewed growth. This success is a direct result of the exceptional dedication and agility of our global team.

Celebrating Our Community

The year climaxed with our vibrant “Genashtim’s Got Talent” celebration, featuring over 40 submissions and involving nearly one-third of our global team in its delivery—a joyful testament to our connected, engaged, and creative culture.

At “Genashtim’s Got Talent” finale, we also officially launched our Hall of Fame, where we recognize very significant individuals from our community. Our late Nadia Saidi is the first honoree.
